Publishing with Biblio Nova

One service. Everything in it.

Biblio Nova is Biblio Publishing’s complete publishing service. You bring a finished manuscript. We do the rest — interior formatting, cover design, ISBNs and barcode, a printed proof in your hands, print and eBook editions, and distribution to Ingram, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, Kobo and libraries worldwide.

It is one path, not a menu. There is nothing to choose between, nothing held back for a more expensive package, and nothing you will be asked to add later.

What it costs

There is no publishing fee. You order the first printing of your own book, and every part of the publishing work is included in that order. Nothing is charged for setup, formatting, cover design, ISBNs or distribution.

Your price comes from your own book: its size, its page count, how many pages print in color, how it is bound, how many copies you want. You can see that price for yourself in about a minute — before you give us your name, and without talking to anyone.

And you pay nothing until you are holding a printed proof of your book and have signed the publishing agreement.

What you do

Send us a manuscript that is finished — edited, proofread, and as close to right as you can get it. A Word file is ideal, because it lets us typeset the book properly and build the eBook editions from the same text. A PDF works if the book is already laid out and you want it printed as it is.

Tell us anything you already know about how you want the book to look, and send any cover art or ideas you have. If you don’t have any, we will design the cover for you.

What we do

• Typeset the interior in a professional book design
• Design your cover, front and back, with your description and your author bio
• Assign your ISBNs and barcode and register the title
• Print a real proof and mail it to you
• Make the corrections you mark, and send another proof when one is needed
• Build the eBook editions from the same manuscript
• Set up distribution — Ingram, Amazon, the eBook stores, the Biblio Bookstore
• Print, bind and ship your copies from our own shop in Columbus

A printed proof. Always.

Before anything is published you hold a real printed copy of your book, and you approve it. Every book, every time. A PDF on a screen is a different object than a book in your hands, and it hides exactly the things a proof exists to catch.

Your book stays yours

The copyright is in your name and always was. You keep every right you walked in with. Biblio holds only the right to sell the specific edition it produced, for the term set out in your publishing agreement — and you can take your book elsewhere.
